This film was shot in one day. More than 25 filmmakers and surfers worked in unison to document the world of surfing in a single 24-hour period: May 2, 2012. From world champs like Kelly Slater and Stephanie Gilmore to free spirits like Dave Rastovich, Ozzy Wright and Alex Knost, this project brings together shapers, photographers, legends, beginners, third world, first world and surf world. Some scored big. Others couldn't find a ripple. It's all part of the surfing experience. From contests to camping, hanging at home or hitting the road, veteran surf filmmaker Taylor Steele pulls together an epic, international cast to prove the best place to be is here and now.

Block10 productions and the ONDE NOSTRE Crew is proud to present the trailer of the brand new episodes RITRATTI DI SURF, shot in Italy, Morocco, California, The Canary Islands, Sri Lanka, Indonesia.
RITRATTI DI SURF is a series of short videos about surfers, shapers, artists and other characters somehow connected to Onde Nostre and the italian surf culture.
They will be released monthly from June 2012, both on TV and internet,
until the premiere of our new 16mm documentary scheduled for the Summer of 2013.

A humble request and a not so humble carve
Thank you guys so much for all of the pledges and the encouragement during the fundraiser; we're in the final 3 days now and the project has a healthy beating heart with over 100 backers and I'd love to get the funding to build the body to make it get up and run so share it as much as you can and lets finish this thing off right!
