I've been a huge fan of your blog for awhile now. Your posts and themes are exactly what I dig in surfing. Your blog is one of my daily rituals. I thought I'd share with you some recent video clips I made to go along with a small label of handshaped surfboards I'm shaping in Miami, Florida.

TOKEN Surfboards met up with Chris Leidy in Nicaragua as he was homeward bound after touring the Pacific Islands. He spent two months in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and Kauai surfing and shooting underwater photographs. We caught up with him and spent a few days surfing and filming him on his 5' TOKEN mini Simmons.

1965 Harley Davidson Panhead Chopper FLH

1965 Harley Davidson Panhead Chopper FLH from Jon Glover on Vimeo.
This 1965 Harley Davidson Panhead Chopper was purchased brand new in 1965 by the previous owner. A few years later the owner decided to heavily modify the motorcycle by raking the neck, molding the joints, adding a bates head light, Anderson pegs and a 10 over front end with a 21" spool front hub. The bike was ridden hard for years and preserved it's late 60's heritage. The owner passed away a few years ago and Ty was able to make a deal with the family to keep the bike's time capsule soul on the road. After a quick once over for maintenance and a safety check the bike is back on the road.

This bike has soul and character that no modern bike will ever have. You can see the miles and stories in every paint chip, scratch and faded chrome.

Produced and Directed by Marc Bencivenga of Clutch Monkey, this short documentary focuses on the rough and two-wheel-tumble life of local Santa Rosan Steve Leandro and his shop S&J Motorcycles. Marc was able to uncover some Super 8 footage from 1974 of the 'Run To the Redwoods", which Steve was a part of, and some 1972 Super 8 footage of the influences in Steve's life to create a film that acknowledges Steve's humble beginings and honors his current impact on future vintage chopper loving generations. Except for the riding shots and old Super 8, this film was shot on the iPhone 4.
